The Egyptian Journal of Botany is the official publication of the Egyptian Botanical Society since 1960. The journal is published in six issues (January, March, May, July, September, and November) every year online. The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality original research, short communications and review articles in botany, plant sciences, and microbiology. The topics covered by the journal are ecology and flora, taxonomy, genetics and genomics, conservation biology, biodiversity and evolution, phytogeography, paleobotany, phycology, physiology and biochemistry, environmental stresses, phytochemistry, ethnobotany, microbiology (bacteria, fungi and viruses), plant pathology, cell and molecular biology, cytology and ultrastructure, and plant biotechnology.
